Hi, we’re the Bloomfields!

 My love of photography initially started when I was a kid with a point and shoot film camera, as well as my dad’s SLR film camera on family vacations. The fall of 2009 is when I picked up my first Canon DSLR and began learning all I could about taking and making great photographs. This was spurred out of joining the campus yearbook group at Baldwin Wallace. That experience gave me the opportunity to hone my skills on everything from candid photos during campus events to more formal posed group shots for campus academic honors societies.

After college in the fall of 2013, I wanted to continue to capture those special moments RDBloomfield Photography was born. The business started off small with shooting my friends engagements, and baby announcements. Now we have grown into photographing families, seniors, newborns and more! We are happy to offer sessions which capture all facets of your life in both digital and film mediums.

Bridget came into the story of RDBloomfield Photography in the summer of 2016. We started dating and not long after she began assisting me on photo sessions. We got married in 2022 and she is an integral part of any photo sessions we go on. This includes getting those little kiddos to smile and laugh when they get antsy.

 In March of 2024 we welcomed our daughter (assistant in training) who is our favorite muse and loves when the camera comes out.
