Hi, We are Ryan & Bridget Bloomfield!

My love of photography initially started when I was a kid with a point and shoot film camera as well as my dad’s SLR film camera on family vacations. The fall of 2009 is when I picked up my first Canon DSLR, and began learning all I could about taking and making great photographs in a variety of different situations. This was spurred out of joining the campus yearbook group at Baldwin Wallace. That experience gave me the opportunity to hone my skills on everything from candid photos during campus events to more formal posed group shots for campus academic honors societies.

After college, wanting to continue to work with people and capturing those special moments which mean so much to families - RDBloomfield Photography was born in the fall of 2013. The business started off small with shooting a couple of friends engagements, and baby announcements. Now we have grown into photographing families, maternity, seniors, newborns and more! We are happy to offer sessions which capture all facets of your life.

Bridget comes into the story of RDBloomfield Photography in the summer of 2016. We started dating in July and not long after she began accompanying me on photo sessions as my “Sherpa” aka assistant. Five and a half years later we got married and she is an integral part of any photo sessions we go on. This includes being a second shooter on some of our larger family photo sessions as well as getting those little kiddos to smile and laugh when they get stubborn.
