Miller Road Park - Avon Lake, OH
This morning’s excursion for the summer solstice was to Miller Road Park in Avon Lake, OH. Situated next to the Avon Point Power Plant this little 14-acre city park features a boat launch, a small fishing pier, as well as places to sit and enjoy the lake as well as kids to play. There was not a cloud in the sky the morning which led to some rich blue skies looking down the fishing pier. There were even no spots left in the parking lot because every fisherman was taking advantage of the beautiful weather to go out and chase down the walleye.
