Sandy Ridge Reservation - Meadow Loop Trail

Went out for a hike on this beautiful morning to Sandy Ridge Reservation in Lorain County Metroparks. I decided to take a different trail which I have never done while at Sandy Ridge - the Meadow Loop Trail. Taking this trail for a change did not disappoint! There were a ton of song sparrows flying around as well as a variety of swallows. Both Tree and Barn Swallows were buzzing the shrubs and bird houses. Not pictured I saw my first ever Orchard Oriole Male. He was sitting in and amongst the grasses and I couldn’t get a clear shot.
