Celebrating Life and the Start of a New One Together!
August 29th, 2020 - This is a day which I know Sam & Jake will never forget. Jake and Sam hired me to come take some photographs of their families gathered together for his re-birthday celebration. Little did Sam know, Jake had actually been working with me behind the scenes to lay out the perfect surprise proposal with all her family and friends. Needless to say she was completely shocked and never saw it coming!
It was fun to watch how everything unfolded that day. Jake and I were able to step away for a few minutes to “plan” where we were going to take the group family photos. In reality, we were actually retrieving the ring, and looking at his speech so I knew the buzz words to listen for letting me know when he was going to drop down on one knee.
Once the family photos were done, the rest of the party was called over and Jake proceeded with the speech. It was heartwarming to hear Jake thank his parents for their support, his sister for being his bone marrow match which saved his life. Then he turned to Sam, started to say some words from the paper and tossed it aside. All the while, his hand was tucked away in his pocket clutching the ring box. When he tossed the speech, and pulled out the ring box you could see the shock grow on Sam’s face that he had pulled off the perfect proposal.
Congratulations to Jake and Sam! The Future Mr. and Mrs. Huber - Cannot wait to watch your love for each other continue to grow into the future!
