Warbler Migration - Sandy Ridge Reservation

What a morning it was for birding on Saturday at Sandy Ridge Reservation in the Lorain County Metroparks! There were many first time sightings for me of the migratory birds coming up from wintering in South America.

The morning started off very foggy and then right about the time I arrived at Sandy Ridge the weather broke and the sun began to peak through the clouds. This made for perfect lighting to capture these quick moving little migratory birds.

I really enjoy getting out into nature and photographing landscapes and chasing down birds when I am not doing people sessions.

Check back in the coming days as I will be posting these photos, as well as others for sale on the website.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my “look through the lens…”!
